Send makana to mozambique
As someone who has grown up and spent her whole life within a 20 mile radius of where I was born, it was nerve racking when I realized my heart was being pulled towards missions trips a few years ago. The idea of leaving my comfort zone, physically, mentally and spiritually was intimidating, but that did not stop my growing hunger to go serve and love on people in less fortunate communities. As soon as I turned 18, I bought my passport with an excited and expectant heart and have since been incredibly blessed with the opportunity to serve on two Mexico Missions trips this past year.
I believe God is now calling me to expand my radius more than 10,000 miles, all the way to Pemba, Mozambique. For 2 weeks, alongside my church's School of Ministry students and team, to partner with Roland and Heidi Baker's Ministry, Iris Global, I will be able to minister to the local people and communities in schools, hospitals, prisons and villages. Being the oldest of six girls, I have an enormous place in my heart for kids, babies and expectant mothers. Having witnessed two live, home births, and having cared for babies for as long as I can remember, one of the parts of the trip that I am most looking forward to is being able to spend time revealing the love of Jesus to local children, youth, infants and mothers.
This trip is the farthest and longest, by any measure, I will have been away from my family and home and I immensely appreciate all your love and prayers. As I take this courageous leap, I ask that you prayerfully consider stepping out in faith by supporting me financially, trip costs and expenses are $3,600. I am incredibly expectant and filled with faith God will provide everything to make this trip possible.
Thank you for every prayer and every dollar, it all makes a difference.
